Come try the QuadriX and the Cymgo, all-terrain wheelchairs specifically equipped to fit on chairlifts, available to both able-bodied and handicapped individuals (elderly, paraplegic) to enjoy the thrills of riding down the mountains.
All-terrain wheelchairs, combined with the use of ski lifts during the summer season, is part of an overall sustainability approach to tourism in the mountains. Enjoy the ride up the mountain to the summit of Mont Lachat and beautiful views of Mont Blanc and the Aravis Mountains. Experience the thrill of the descent on a variety of trails depending on pilot skill and comfort level. The QuadriX requires good arm and hand motor skills, and the Cymgo let's you enjoy the ride while in the skilled hands of a certified pilot.
Maximum of 5 people per group for able-bodied individuals, wheelchair availability permitting.
The Cymgo allows only 1 passenger per qualified pilot.

Adult half-day: 105 € (Price for 1 to 3 people)

Prices for 1 to 3 people.
A club membership fee of 20 € as well as proof of insurance that covers search and rescue costs are required before being able to use the equipment. A security deposit of 5000 € is also required to be able to use the equipment.

Plan for the additional cost of renting an all-terrain wheelchair (20 €) and a lift pass (8.60 € in 2011).
If there is more than one paraplegic individual in your group, an additional self-sufficient individual on a mountain bike is needed per QuadriX to help loading and unloading the chairlift.

Booking : Mountain bike instructor office hours at the Tourism Office (Maison du Tourisme) from 18.00 to 19.00, from 01/07/12 to 02/09/12.
During the same period our welcome staff is available at any time of the day to sign you up. Sign up by phone or by email in the spring and autumn.

The clubhouse is located in a small hamlet in Chinaillon called La Mulaterie, 6 km from Le Grand-Bornand. Park in front of the building. The proximity of the Le Chatelet chairlift allows you to leave straight from the clubhouse in the all-terrain wheelchair.
